My Bio
All his life Sean has called Montreal home. Ever since a young age his fascination and love for radio, music, and performance has been the common denominator throughout his life. Speaking publicly, sitting behind a microphone or being on stage as a musician have always come very naturally to him.
His journey however, like most things in our lives was not in a straight line to where he finds himself today. In fact his true calling was put on hold as he worked in skilled trades spanning everything from aerospace manufacturing, military service, and the automotive sector.
In 2002 he decided it was time to pursue his dream, and through hard work and determination, earned the rare opportunity and privilege to work for Standard Radio (now Bell Media) where he produced CHOM's En Blues, MC Mario's Party Mix and Mixdown (Mix 96, now Virgin Radio), as well as remote sport broadcasts for CJAD 800 AM and TSN 690. Sean is still active in radio broadcasting as host of the "The House of Blue Lights" on CJIM (cjim.ca). A show dedicated to the blues which has been a lifelong passion of his, and as a guest travel commentator on Travel World Radio Network with host Stephen Pickford.
The voice over bug bit him when he was called upon to record a public service announcement for Remembrance Day, as well as contribute to radio spots as a second or third voice. His abilities were immediately noticed by his mentors and encouraged him to cultivate his natural raw talent. During that period he was also studying audio engineering at the Canada Institute of Recording Arts where he honed his skills in all matters pertaining to recording, media production, editing, and sound design.
Along the way he married a wonderful woman, who has been his best friend and supporter ever since the beginning of this professional journey and has 2 sons.
