My Bio
Brian Gardner is proving to be quite a versatile voice over talent. Recently Brian voiced sections of three documentaries produced by LionHeart FilmWorks: Gangster Empire (Rise of the Mob), Gunman of the Old West & The Presidents: From Politics to Power. Previous to this Brian had a weekly show on KSOL Radio in Northern California. He has been a featured guest on nearly 25,000 aired radio shows on a variety of community betterment topics and has voiced many commercials. Brian was also one of the principle actors on the NBC Unsolved Mysteries episode on the escape of three prisoners from Alcatraz State Prison in Northern California in the 60's.
His ability to recreate a variety of moods with his voice come largely from being born in the diversity and variety found in both Northern California and his home town of Oakland, California. His professionalism comes from the experience and knowledge he gained after over 45 years as a drummer in a variety of bands and vocal prowess through his 45 years as a singer-songwriter.
Because of the influence of his Father's 50 years volunteering as a Scout Leader, Brian also has always been involved with efforts to better our communities. He both wrote and voiced commercials for the San Francisco Mayor's Prevention and Intervention Anti-Alcohol and Drug Task Force and was an MC for their main yearly event, as well as an MC for various USO events. His work on a yearly Toys Drive in conjunction with the USO Toys Drive, on local Cable TV, dubbed a "Toyathon", aired each December for 10 years and won a San Francisco Bay Area Cable Ace award for original content.
Although commercials are certainly a stable of any voice actor, and Brian wants to voice commercials, he hopes to be able to voice Documentaries as well, that are designed and produced to spotlight some area that needs community attention. He is also very interested in voicing animation, where he can utilize and spotlight the variety of voices he has in his repertoire.
